John Bradford

John Bradford, 75 years old of the Loosier Community passed into Glory with the Lord on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home and the funeral will be Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Funeral Home Chapel with Terry Settles and Larry Crumpton officiating.  Burial will be in Old Liberty Cemetery.
John was a master carpenter that retired from the carpenters local 109 in Sheffield, Alabama.  He also owned Bradford's Construction, where he built homes and several commercial projects in the Decatur and Huntsville area.  He was a hard working man that provided for his family.   He loved to hunt, listen to his dogs run and Alabama Football.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Loys and Etta Mae Bradford,  three brothers: Kennon Bradford, Junior Bradford and Doug Bradford and one sister: Mavis Faye Hunt.
John is survived by his loving wife of fifty one years, Ellon Jones Bradford, His children: Johnia Parker (Gary), Lana Cole (Johnny) and Jonathan Bradford all of Hatton and Bruce Bradford (Chris) of Kalamazoo, Michigan.  Six Grandchildren, his little angels, that were the sunshine of his life: Colton Parker (Sarah), Lexi Parker, Jake Bradford all of Hatton, Slade Cole of Florence, Maci Cole and Dru Bradford of Hatton  and Kaylee Bradford and Taylor Bradford of Kalamazoo, MI. and three great grandchildren. His siblings: Harold Bradford, Burl Bradford, Gerald Bradford, Rickey Bradford, Mary Ann Thrasher, Joyce Bradford, and Julie Cole and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be His grandsons:  Colton Parker, Jake Bradford, Slade Cole, and his nephews:  Mark Bradford, Brad Bradford, Nick Bradford, Todd Bradford, Micheal Parker and Harvey Blankenship
