Kathie Sims

Kathie Lynette Sims, 73, of Russellville, Alabama passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024, at her residence. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 07, 2024, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The memorial service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Roger Houston officiating.

Born on February 17, 1951, to Geoffrey and Jeanette Cameron Beck, Kathie's laughter was infectious, and she will be remembered for her love of outdoor activities, especially tending to her flowers and spending time with her cherished grandchildren. Kathie's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Survivors include her daughter, Tatum (Juan) Osorio; two grandchildren, Renesmee and Emery Osorio; two sisters, Dianne (Billy) Tillman and Debbie (Malcolm) Smith; one brother, Dale (Judy) Beck; four nieces, Mackenzie Sutton, Katie Tillman, Whitney Smith, and Erin Poole; six nephews, Marcus Beck, Lucus Beck, Johnathan Beck, Buddy Tillman, Danny Tillman, and Jeffrey Tillman.

Kathie was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Sims; parents; daughter, Rhonda Sims, and nephew, Dustin Smith.
