Kenny Terry

Kenny Dewayne Terry, 63, of Courtland, Alabama passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Florence Nursing Home. A memorial service will be at 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.

Born on July 21, 1959 to Tom and Earline Peebles Terry, Kenny enjoyed playing pool, fishing, working in the yard, fixing his trucks, and watching westerns. Kenny was a member of Courtland Chapel formerly known as Courtland United Methodist Church. Kenny most importantly enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Survivors include his two children, Brianna Terry (Cory Sherrill) and Chris Eskridge; one sister, Kathy Dutton; one brother, Dale Terry (Peggy); and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Kenny was preceded in death by his spouse, Linda Stewart Terry; parents, Tom and Earline Peebles Terry; one brother, Dwight Terry.

The family extends a special thanks to Decatur Morgan Hospital's Parkway Campus, North Alabama Medical Center, Florence Nursing and Rehab Center, and Compassus Hospice.
