Kevin Mitchell

Kevin Floyd Mitchell, 56, of Russellville, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Bro. Trevor Hallmark officiating. Burial will be at Gargis Cemetery.

Born on December 9, 1968 to the late Floyd and Yvonne Bruton Mitchell, Kevin worked as a truck driver for nearly 35 years and he loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include sisters, Jackie Kerby, and Agatha Garcia; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Vanessa Crumpton.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Kerby, Chase Robledo, David Parker, TJ Crumpton, Jamie Kerby, JC Patterson, and Scott Patterson.

The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff at Keller Hospice; and to all of his friends and church family for their care and support.
