Larry D. Pierce, 67, of Town Creek passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 at NHC Healthcare. Visitation will be from to 6 till 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 12 noon on Monday, March 20, 2017 at the funeral home with Roger Boswell and Bob Sims officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.
A member of The Bridge Baptist Church, Larry loved fishing, hunting and Alabama football.
Survivors include his siblings, Thomas Pierce, Delbert Pierce, Ronnie Pierce (Patsy), Ray Pierce, Dottie Wilson (Gwin), Shelia Whisenant, Wanda Horton (Gary), Jimmy Pierce (Lisa), Basil Pierce (Tommie), and Goldie Smithson (David); 20 nieces and nephews, 33 great nieces and nephews, and two great-great nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Theo and Dorothy Pierce.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Pierce, Tyron Pierce, Chad Wilson, Chase Whisenant, Matt Horton, Dylan Pierce, Nick Pierce and Hunter Pierce.
