Leon Russell (Red) Rutherford, 75 years old of Moulton, passed from this life Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at his residence.
Red was a self employed painter.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday, September 9, 2016 at Lawrence Funeral Home at 2:00 PM with Larry Crumpton officiating. Burial will be in Rutherford Cemetery. Pallbearers are Dustin Thrasher, Justin Thrasher, Zack Terry, Dawson Terry, Keith Thrasher and Charles Curtis.
Red was preceded in death by his parents: Russell and Annie Muston Rutherford, one brother: Price Rutherford and two sisters: Martha Jean Dutton and Doris Fay Rutherford
He is survived by two brothers: Oneil Rutherford and Johnny Rutherford, two sisters: Betty Curtis and her husband, Charles and Linda Gail Rutherford all of Moulton, two nephews: David Dutton and Chris Curtis, two nieces: Lynn Thrasher and April Terry, three great nieces and five great nephews.
