Linda Miller

Linda Jearldean “Nanny” Miller, 75, of Town Creek passed away Thursday. August 19, 2021 at her home. Visitation will be from 1 till 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 22 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with Larry Crumpton and Tony Pepper officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.

Born on April 2, 1946 to the late Alton and Lillian Terry Borden, Linda graduated from Hatton High School in 1964. She was a member of Jones Chapel Church and loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Tina Gist (Chris); grandsons, Alton Blake Hall (Jessica) and Austin Gist; granddaughter, Haley Davis (Kevin); great-grandchildren, Brentley Flannigan, Drayton Flannigan, and Makenzie Dawson; special friend, James Hutto; and her dogs, Kilo and Gunner.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Bobby Gene Miller.

Pallbearers will be Rodney Barbin, Mark Terry, Larry Terry, Mike Kemp, Payton Goldsmith, and Jason Frost.

The family extends special thanks to her nurses, Lorie Knight and Kathy Dingus along with all the staff at Hospice of North Alabama.
