June 4, 1935 — May 19, 2020

Maggie Jane Glenn, 84, of Hillsboro passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at her home. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at First Apostolic Church. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Bro. Chip Shepard officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery.

Born on June 4, 1935 to the late Abraham and Neoma Jackson, Maggie was a member of First Apostolic Church. She dedicated her life to her family and serving God. Maggie will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Maggie is survived by her children, Brenda Vess, Pat Parker, Diann Wilson (Erskin), Junior Smith, and Danny Smith; 18 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Sarah Smith and Wendy Smith

Maggie was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Willard Clifford Smith; her second husband, Walter Glenn; sons, Clifford Wayne Smith, Roger Lee Smith, and David Wayne Smith; siblings, Eugene Jackson, Grady Jackson, Erline Tidwell, Nell Kimbrel, Marie Moore, Clayton Jackson, and Junior Jackson; and son-in-law Dale Vess.

Pallbearers will be Scottie Smith, Stephen Vess, Daniel Finchum, Tim Vess, Randall Wilson, and Christopher Wilson.

The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff of Hospice of the Valley.
