Margie Lindsey

Margie Marie Lindsey, 95, of Danville, Alabama passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at her residence. The graveside service will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Enon Cemetery in Danville, Al with Bro. Steve Ledbetter officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Born on March 26, 1928, to Jessie and Carrie Hale, Margie enjoyed gardening of all kinds, giving her pets some love, and shopping.

Survivors include her two sons, Jerry Wayne Lindsey (Marie) and James Derek Lindsey (Darrel); two grandchildren, Brandon Cole Lindsey (Sabrina) and Tony Ray Lindsey (Sarah); great-grandchildren, Kadee Belle Lindsey, Josie Ray Lindsey, and Kain Cole Lindsey; one sister, Dot Whisenant; two daughter-in-laws, Sonya Lindsey and Lana Lindsey; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Carrie Hale; husband, Orville Ray Lindsey; two sons, Tony Lindsey and Gary Lindsey.

The family extends a special thanks to Amedysis Hospice and nurse Heidi.
