Nadine Bond

Marjorie Nadine Bond, 86, of Hatton passed away Friday, September 22, 2023 at Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Victor Brackin and Dr. Jesse Reeder officiating. Burial will be at Providence Cemetery.

Nadine, affectionately known as "Bert", was born in Town Creek on January 17, 1937 to George and Berchie Norton Brackin. She was a member of Donald Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hillard Bond; her son Kerry Bond; her parents; siblings, William S. Brackin, Carlton Brackin, and George Brackin, Jr.

Survivors include her daughter, Alesa Henley (Danny); son, Keith Bond (Marbara); and her grandchildren, Chasity Carroll (Jake), Justin Henley (Morgan), Aaron Barnes, Chris Bond, and Kim Robertson (Drew); great grandchildren, Morgan, Jacob, Brooks, Ivy Baker, Avery, Cooper, Paisley, and Sammy; and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Pallbearers will be Jake Carroll, Jacob Carroll, Justin Henley, Dennis Brackin, Aaron Barnes, Chris Bond and Adam Brackin. Honorary pallbearer is Brooks Henley.
