Martha Smith

Martha Shepherd Smith, 56, of Loosier Community passed away Monday, September 14, 2020 at North Alabama Medical Center. Visitation will be Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 12:00 pm till service time on Friday, September 18, 2020 at Roden Freewill Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Friday September 18, 2020 at Roden Baptist Church with Brother Donnie Smith officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.

Martha was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include her husband of six years, Desley Smith; mother, Victoria Shepherd; three sons, Chad Shepherd (Connie), Jeffrey Smith, and Lucas Newell; two daughters, Rachael Hagood and Kayla Lathem (Dakota); two brothers, Steve Shepherd, and David Shepherd; four sisters, Christine Shepherd, Jackie Shepherd, Vickie Holladay, and twin sister, Mary Arnett; and ten grandchildren.

Martha was preceded in death by her first husband, Brian Hagood; her father, Eugene Shepherd; and Chris Smith.
