Melba Hood

Melba Nicholson Hood, 93 years old of Moulton went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at NHC Healthcare. Visitation will be from 12:00 till 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Lawrence Funeral Home with Ron Davis officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Garden.

Melba attended Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church and was retired from G.C. Lingerie.

Survivors include two sons: Dwight Hood (Jerrie) and Charles Hood, two grandsons: Josh Hood (Andrya) and Mike Hood, one brother: James W. Nicholson and one sister: Jimmie Lou Martin.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Clayborn Hood, her parents: Earnest and Nancy Nicholson and three brothers and three sisters.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
