Micheal Mizell

Micheal "Shannon" Mizell, 53, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Monday, May 6, 2024, at his residence in Moulton, AL. The graveside service will be at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Lindsey Cemetery with Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Born on April 27, 1971, to Micheal Mizell and Joan White Brewer, Shannon enjoyed hunting of all kinds. Shannon also had a passion for riding horses, and he would break them if they didn't break him first.

Survivors include his four children, Kaitlin "Punkin" Mizell, Damon Mizell (Ashlea), Joshua "Buckwheat" Mizell, and Nate Terry; mother, Joan Brewer; paternal grandmother; Martha Mizell; five grandchildren; two sisters, Wanda Morgan (Charles) and Becky Glasco; one brother, Chris Overton; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Micheal was preceded in death by his father, Micheal Mizell; step-father, Buddy Brewer; paternal grandfather, Henry Mizell; maternal grandparents, James and Sue White.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff at Helen Keller Hospital.
