Murphy Alexander

Murphy Dale Alexander, 83, of Moulton passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 31 at Lawrence Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Cheatham Cemetery with Sammy Evans officiating.

Murphy enjoyed fishing in the Gulf and watching football. He retired from Goss Electric after working there for 20 years.

Survivors include his children, Lisa Owens (Ken), Deane Harbison, Kara Kelsoe, Alexa Alexander Brown, and Jeffrey Dale Alexander; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Coney Finger, Joanne Evans, and Karen Jackson; brothers, Danny Fulmer and Frank Shirley; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Murphy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jeff and Nora Alexander; and mother, Ruby Dean Shirley Alexander.

Pallbearers will be grandchildren.

The family extends special thanks to the CCU nurses and staff at Cullman Regional for their wonderful care.
