Nancy Millette

Nancy Ann Millette, 81, of Decatur passed away November 18, 2024, at Bibb Medical Center Nursing Home, surrounded by her sons. The graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Roselawn Cemetery with Ryan Wilburn officiating.

Born on January 8, 1943, to Ray and Vera Wear, Nancy and her husband Jim were married for 39 years. While Jim was serving overseas Nancy was a stay at home mom keeping her three boys in check.

Survivors include her three sons, Eric (Caroline) Millette, Sean Millette, and Lance (Amy) Millette; four grandchildren, Owen Millette, Brooke Morris, Jack Millette, and Anamae Millette; two great-grandchildren, Everleigh Millette and Dawson Morris; one sister, Donna Wear; cousin, Jeeber; and two nieces, Monica and Cindy.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" Millette; parents, Ray and Vera Wear; and one sister, Melba Robinson.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family extends special thanks to Dr. Patil and the nurses and staff at Bibb Medical Center Nursing Home.
