Pamela Mayes Simms, 65, of Town Creek, Alabama passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025, at her residence. The graveside service will be at 1:00 PM on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Moulton Memory Gardens with Shane Williams officiating. Burial will be at Moulton Memory Gardens.
Born on September 1, 1959, to Eugene and Jeanette Mayes. Pam was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed cooking and baking especially her banana pudding. Pam was the front porch Loosier Gazette, and could tell you any and everything that happened in the Loosier community. She was married for 38 years to the love of her life, and went home to be with him since his passing seven years ago.
Survivors include her two sons, Chris (Jessica) Simms and Heath (Rose) Mayes; three grandchildren, Lila Simms, Logan Mayes, and Brodie Mayes; two great-grandchildren, Oaklynn Mayes and Brynlee Mayes; two sisters, Ramona Simoneaux and Janet (Archie) Letson; one brother, Rick Mayes; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Pamela was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Simms; parents, Eugene and Dorothy Jeanette Mayes; and one sister, Marsha Tidwell.
Pallbearers will be Brodie Mayes, Steve Poston, Cricket Terry, Dustin Sims, Bob Simpson, and Austin Garrison.
The family extends special thanks to nurse, Kayla Holis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
