Peggy Brackin

Peggy Sue Brackin, 86 years old of Muscle Shoals passed away Monday, December 31, 2018 at Helen Keller Hospital. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Lawrence Funeral Home with Casey Hagle officiating.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Town Creek, Alabama.

Mrs. Brackin was a member of Parkview Baptist Church in Tuscumbia. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother.

Survivors include her four sons: Randy Cross(Kay), Miles Cross(Elaine), Neal Nicholson(Vicky), and Jeff Nicholson(Debra), one daughter: Shannon Agee(Tim), one daughter-n-law: Tina Brackin,  four grandsons: Heath Cross, Nicolas Agee, Chad Carruth and Matt Wilbanks, six granddaughters: Amy Crumpton, Kimberly Pettus, Chasidy Atchison, Nicole Wall, Teila Tate, and Tonya Brackin, nineteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son: Tommy Brackin, her parents: Earnest and Myrtle Lindsey Blaxton.

Pallbearers will be Nathen Liles, Logan Harville, Stacy Dawson, Matt Tate, Justin Wall, Nicolas Agee, Heath Cross, and Chad Carruth.

The family extends special thanks to Mrs. Brackin’s Church family at Parkview Baptist Church, Alacare Home Health, Dr. McLendon, and the Nurses and staff of Helen Keller Hospital.
