Price Mitchell

Price Edward Mitchell, 92 years old of Moulton, passed from this life, Sunday, February 26, 2017 at his residence.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home with the funeral service following in the funeral home chapel with Larry Davis and Jim Fiscus officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Mitchell was a a World War II Army Veteran and retired from Monsanto as a chemical operator, he attended Owen Chapel Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Linnie Sue Posey Mitchell, his parents: John William and Essie Bell Rutherford Mitchell,  two brothers: Hillard Mitchell and Cecil Mitchell, one sister: Reba Pierce and a grandson: Barry Keith Hopkins.

Mr. Mitchell is survived by two sons: James Wayne Mitchell and his wife, Peggy and Charles Wendell Mitchell and his wife, Lisa, of Moulton,  two daughters: Patricia Ann Hopkins and her husband, Donnie of Mt. Hope and Martha Britnell and her husband, Joe of Decatur, four grandsons: Brad Hopkins and his wife Misti, Jeremy Mitchell and his wife, Merenda, Allan Britnell and his wife, Leslie and Wesley Mitchell and his wife, Hillary, three granddaughters: Selena Nelson and her husband, Tommy, Mandy Kennamer and her husband, Jason and Emily Elkins and her husband, Chase, sixteen great grandchildren: Sunny, Beau and Reiny Hopkins, Jaxson and Bradyn Mitchell, Chole, Aubrey and Cooper Elkins, Chaney Grace and Garrett Britnell, Kaylee Nelson, Jayden, Jessie and Jase Mitchell,  Brodie Cade Gillespie and Ada Brooke McElroy.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Mitchell, Wesley Mitchell, Brad Hopkins, Allan Britnell, Tommy Nelson and Beau Hopkins.  Honorary Pallbearers are R.J. Dunn, Chase Elkins, Jaxson Mitchell, Jayden Mitchell, Jessie Mitchell, Jase Mitchell, Cooper Elkins, Garrett Britnell and Brodie Gillespie.
