Raymond Allen

Raymond Allen, 86 years old of Mt. Hope passed away, Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Russellville Health Care. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM till 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Warren officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Methodist Cemetery.

Mr. Allen was a farmer and a member of Old Town Creek Baptist Church. He loved to hunt and enjoyed bee keeping and raising quail.

Survivors include his son: Dale Allen (Susan), two daughters: Patsy Kerby (Jimmy) and Kimberly Proctor (Dwight), four grandsons: Jesse Allen (Jessica), Ryan Proctor (Sarah), Blake Allen (Jennifer) and Ben Allen, five granddaughters: Sandra Kerby, Cindy Pierce (Cody), Baley Glaze (Drew), Brandy Scruggs and Blythe Willis, and 13 great grandchildren, and two brothers: Robert Allen and Donald Allen(Ann) .

He was preceded in death by his wife: Elsie Mae Coan Allen, one son: Ronald Allen, and his parents: Henry Russell Allen and Ethel Warren Allen.

Pallbearers will be Jesse Allen, Ryan Proctor, Blake Allen, Ben Allen, Drew Glaze, and Cody Pierce.

The family extends special thanks to Russellville Health Care.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Hope Senior Center.
