Robert "Bob" Kirksey

Robert "Bob" Earl Kirksey, 67, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Lawrence Medical Center Moulton, AL. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Aldridge Grove Church. The funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Aldridge Grove Church with Kenneth Johnson officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing. Burial will be at Aldridge Grove Cemetery.

Born on September 7, 1957, to Walter Sidney and Veralean Smith Kirksey, Bob was Honorably Discharged from the Army National Guard in 1982. Bob was always giving to and helping his neighbors and friends in times of need. Bob retired from 3M company in 2012, which gave him time to enjoy cattle farming, hunting, and spending time outdoors.

Survivors include his wife Joyce McMillan Kirksey ; children, Robert Edward (Christy) Kirksey, Dustin Paul (Jamie) Kirksey; four grandchildren; one sister, Amelia Ann (Melvin) Croft; and four nephews and extended family.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Sidney Kirksey Sr. and Veralean "Vicki" Smith Kirksey; four brothers, Walter Kirksey Jr., William Kirksey, George Kirksey, and John Kirksey.

Pallbearers will be Greg Blankenship, Scott Kirksey, Chip Kirksey, Shane Jackson, Cash Kirksey, and Tyler Keenum.

The family extends a special thanks to Greg's Ambulance Service and the nurses and staff at Lawrence Medical Center.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or an animal shelter of your choice.
