Robert Green, Sr.

Robert Charles Green, 85, of Town Creek passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Helen Keller Hospital. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. till 12 noon on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Okolona Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at noon with Terry Settles officiating. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery.

A member of Okolona Baptist Church, Bob was a charter member of the Hatton Volunteer Fire Department. There he served as the second Fire Chief at Hatton and served on their Board of Directors. He also retired as a house painter and loved to spend time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his granddaughter, Kimberly Beck (Scott); grandson Bo Green; great grandchildren, Jordan Beck (Maria), Jerica Stidham (Josh); great-great grandchildren, Jett Brackin and John Cooper Stidham; and daughter-in-law, Darlene Green Rutherford.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Pat Green; daughter, Janetta Green Boston; son, Bobby Green; grandsons, Kenny Ray Boston and Lance Green; parents, Bill and Syble Green; brother, Billy Green; and son-in-law, Ray Boston.

Pallbearers will be the Hatton Fire Department.
