Hodge Jackson

Hodge Jackson, 89, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Charles Williams, Jimmy Fuller, and Bro. Mike Jackson officiating. Entombment will be at Midway Memorial Garden.

Born on April 13, 1935, to Quill Jackson and Irene Oden Martin, Hodge enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and spending time with his family. Hodge was a member of Friendship Church.

Survivors include his three children, Greg (Regina) Jackson, Lavon Johnson, and Tim (Victoria) Jackson; grandchildren, Gordon Jackson, Mitch Jackson, Robert Short, Bethany Johnson, Wendy Stump, Sarah Jackson, and Hannah Jackson; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Almon Jackson and Dennis (Vera) Jackson; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Hodge was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jackson; son, Gordon "Butch" Jackson; and his parents.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff at Decatur Morgan Hospital.
