Roger Terry

Roger Miles Terry, 74, of Moulton, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Huntsville Hospital. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 02, 2024 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM at the funeral home with Bro. Roger Boswell officiating. Burial will be at Moulton Memory Gardens.

Born on February 2, 1950 to the late Harbin and Alder Terry, Roger graduated from Lawrence County High School in 1969 and then served in the Army Reserves. He married the love of his life, Beth, and he worked for Champion International Paper for over 40 years. Roger will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather who loved to fish, hunt and spend time with his family. A member of The Bridge, he was a man of God with a servant's heart.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Beth Terry; daughter, Candice (Carlton) Hagler; grandchildren, J.R. Hagler, and Julianne Hagler; sister, Barbara (Jimmy) Glenn; nephew, Tim Glenn and extended family.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Sandra Delane.

Pallbearers will be Neal Porter, Jacob Porter, Brandon Hudson, Mike Love, Chandler Love, and Bud Payne.
