Ronald Sims

Ronald Lee Sims "Ronnie", 78, of Town Creek, Alabama passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at Athens Limestone Hospital. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Larry Crumpton officiating.

Born on September 16, 1944, to Orville and Levina Clayton Sims, Ronnie enjoyed playing pool, woodworking, and watching Notre Dame and Alabama football. He also attended Old Liberty Church. Ronnie's favorite thing to do was to spend time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Kathie Sims; two children, Renee Costner (Frankie) and Tatum Osorio (Juan); grandchildren, Renesmee Osorio and Emery Osorio; one sister, Patty Winfield (Jerry); one brother, Rodger Sims (Linda); and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Levina Clayton Sims; one daughter, Rhonda Sims; one sister, Barbara Hauch; two brothers, Larry Sims and William Sims.
