Ronnie Jones

Ronnie Joe Jones, 74, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. The graveside service will be at 1:30 PM on Monday, March 18, 2024, at Moulton Memory Gardens with Tim Keenum and Greg Keenum officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing. Burial will be at Moulton Memory Gardens.

Born on July 2, 1949, to Charlie and Sally Kennum Jones, Ronnie enjoyed watching Alabama Football. Sunday drives and trips to the steak house were some of Ronnie's favorite pass times.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Betty Jones; children, Amanda (Matt) Young, Tammy , Tracy , Tonia , Terry (Brandy); grandchildren, Briley Young, Hudson Young, Lawson Young, Tame McKelvy, Torn McKelvy, Chanse (Brittany) Parker, Hope (Colvin) Proctor, Tyler McKelvy, Connor McKelvy, Jonathan Mitchum, Nathan McKelvy, and Noah McKelvy; great-grandchildren, Alassandra Falcom, Amillia Falcom, Annalee Parker, Abigail Parker, Kaitlyn Parker, Josie Proctor, and Boone Proctor; one brother, Dillard (Kathy) Jones; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Sally Jones; two grandsons, Eric Nelson and Tristen McKelvy; one great-grandchild, Keely Parker.

Pallbearers will be Torn McKelvy, Chanse Parker, Colvin Proctor, Noah McKelvy, Chris Jones, and Charlie Jones.

Honorary Pallbearers are Quinton Tucker, Wayne Brookes, and Gary Ledlow.

The family extends special thanks to Enhabit Hospice especially Alley, Emily, Chasity, Brook, and Brittany.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cysticfibrosis Foundation of Alabama or The American Heart Association in Ronnie's honor.
