Sandra Spells

Sandra "Sandy" Faye Spells, 73, of Town Creek, AL passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be from 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm on October 13, 2024 at Lawrence Funeral Home, Moulton AL. The funeral service will follow with Bro. Ken Coomer, Bro. Wayne Dotson and Sis. Samantha Trapp officiating. Burial will be at Fergason Cemetery.

Born on February 5, 1951 to Kenneth and Rita Roberts Coomer, Sandy's survivors include her children, Tammy Lang, and Roger (Felicia) Renfro; step-child, Ronald Dean Spells; grandchildren, Austin (Laden Jeffreys) Renfro, Makensley Renfro, Maggie Williams, David Lockard, Joshua Brennan; sisters, Nancy (Keith) Green, Flo (Steve) Roerig; brother, Ken (Joyce) Coomer; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family including Anna Dotson and Samantha (Kendall) Trapp and their son, Kaden Trapp.

Sandy was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Coomer; mother, Rita Roberts; husband, Robert "Bobby" Spells. Pallbearers will be Austin Renfro, Jay Scott, Jamie Brewer, Matthew Logston, Jonathan Dutton, Richard Terry, Kendall Trapp, Kaden Trapp.

The family extends special thanks to Ginny with North Alabama Hospice, her grandkids; Austin and Makensley for going above and beyond for their grandmother - (loving on her and bringing her breakfast every morning), Jay Scott (for making her smile with his many visits), Howard (Ken) and Joyce For Their long trips just to pray for his sister!
