Shelby Cameron

Shelby Jean Cameron, 76, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Monday, August 15, 2022, at NHC of  Moulton, AL. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation with Charles Williams officiating. Burial will be at Midway Memorial Gardens in Moulton, AL.

Born on March 8, 1946 to Russell and Elsie Roden Parker, Shelby enjoyed working in her yard, going to church, singing, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a blessing and joy to all that knew her.

Survivors include her two daughters, Sherry England (Gary), and Christie Logan (Stacey); five grandchildren, Ashley Waldrep (Ethan), Noah England (Karleigh), Jacob Logan (Courtney), Justus Logan, and Jeb Logan; eight great-grandchildren, Harper England, Aubrey England, Vivian England, Drake England, Eli Waldrep, Evelyn Waldrep, Jaci Gann, and Jemma Logan; two sisters, Syble Hood, and Jackie McElroy; brother, Mack Parker (Angela); and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Shelby was preceded in death by Clifton "Nip" Cameron; parents, Russell and Elsie Parker; siblings, Bill and Glynice Widner, Wayne and Faye Parker, Shirley McElroy, Jimmy Hood, Jimmy McElroy, Kenneth McElroy, Ricky Parker, and Josephine Parker.

Pallbearers will be Noah England, Ethan Waldrep, Jacob Logan, Justus Logan, Jeb Logan, and Mike Widener.

The family extends special thanks to the staff and nurses of NHC of Moulton for their excellent care and compassion in the last years of her life, and her nephew, Dr. Chad McElroy for his love and care.
