Shirley Cartee Early

Shirley was born on August 10, 1945 in Lawrence County, Alabama to James Cartee and Lula Illava Pitt Cartee. She died on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, Alabama. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; JP Early, one brother; James Gary Cartee, two sisters; Brenda Lee and Mona Matthews.

She is survived by one half sister; Nina Alred of Biloxi, Mississippi, four sons; James Early, Jerry Early (Cynthia), Tim Early and Johnny Early all of Moulton, Alabama, three granddaughters; Judy White (Chris), Sarah Early of Moulton and Robin Early, two great granddaughters; Jasmine Parker (Colt) and Lexy White and one great grandson; Jathan Greer.

The visitation will be Tuesday, October 27, 2020 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home and the funeral service following at 2:00 PM with Bro. Chris Godbee officiating. Burial will be in Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be James Early, Jerry Early, Tim Early, Johnny Early, Jathan Greer and Chris White.
