Stanley Terry

Stanley Wayne Terry, 81, of Courtland passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022 at his residence. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM till 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Lawrence Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, at Courtland Memorial Garden with Bro. Scottie Letson officiating. Burial will be in Courtland Memorial Garden.

Born June 13, 1940 to Buster and Odee Terry, Stanley was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber after 38 years of service. Stanley was an all around handyman. He built his own home. He was a brick layer, did flooring work, painting, electrical work, automotive painting and built furniture. Stanley loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of sixty five years; Joyce Terry, one daughter; Becky Terry, two sons; Chuck Terry (Karen) and Jason Terry (Crystal), five grandchildren; Chris Terry (Christey), Colt Lee Terry (Lara-Beth), Blake Terry (Mandy), Amberly Jackson (Cody) and Preston Terry, eight great grandchildren; Kendall Terry, Cameron Terry, Lindie Jo Fagan, Seanie Grace Terry, Jasper Terry, Jett Terry, Slade Terry and Colter Jackson, one brother; Terry Terry (Brenda) and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Buster and Odee Terry, one brother; Billy Con Terry and one sister; Peggy Faye Sharp.

Pallbearers will be Chris Terry, Colt Lee Terry, Blake Terry, Preston Terry, Cameron Terry, Cody Jackson, His grandsons.
