Steve Rutherford

Steve Rutherford, 58, of Moulton passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021 at his home. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. till 12 p.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12 noon at the funeral home. Burial will be in Union Hill Missionary Baptist Cemetery.

Born on March 19, 1962 to the late Clyde and Annie Laura Rutherford, Steve enjoyed building furniture and working with his hands.

Survivors include his daughters, Laura Rutherford, and Amber Rutherford; their mother, Candy Rutherford; grandchildren, Bronson Hill, Oaklynn Mayes, Grayson Nelms, and McKinley Nelms; brothers, Burl Rutherford, and Randall Rutherford; sister, Joyce Engle; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Marvin Nelms, Austin Hill, Paul Rutherford, Roger Engle, Lavearl Rutherford, and Wesley Rutherford. His brother, Randall is an honorary pallbearer.

The family extends special thanks to his neighbors, Danny Wayne and Tabby.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lawrence Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
