Talmadge Leon Randolph, 93, of Lynchburg, VA, formerly of Wolf Springs, AL passed away Friday, October 11, 2019 at Lynchburg General Hospital. The family will receive friends from 6 till 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Lawrence Funeral Home in Moulton. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2019 at the funeral home with Bro. Mike Smith and Bro. Kenneth Bond officiating. Burial will be in Gargas Cemetery with Pastor Josh Horton and Bro. Perry Stokes officiating.
Mr. Randolph attended Beaver Cross Elementary and Wolf Springs Schools and served as a song leader in his church. He enjoyed gardening, deer hunting, fishing, and flea market sales.
Survivors include his children, Barbara G. Hays (John), Judy A. Armstrong (David) and Wendell G. Randolph; granddaughter, Brittany G. Hays; step-grandchildren, Tabitha Smith and Alfie Smith; and siblings, John Randolph (Ramona), Mildred Harrison, Billy Randolph (Carolyn), Bobby Randolph and Jimmy Randolph (Jean).
Mr. Randolph was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Gean Randolph; son, Roger Randolph; sisters, Irene Harrison, Della Jeffreys, Lucille Frost and Elsie Craig; and brother, Edward Randolph.
Pallbearers will be Wade Harrison, Greg Harrison, Joey Randolph, Nick Hendershot, Lance Randolph and Danny Randolph.
The family extends special thanks to the hospital staff at Lynchburg General Hospital.
