Wayne "Pops~Pawpaw" Lindley

Wayne “Pops~PawPaw” Junior Lindley, 67, of Moulton passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022 at his residence. Visitation will be from 12:30 PM till 2:00 PM on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charles Williams officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.

Born September 15, 1954 to Earlin and LunaMae Lindley, Wayne was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He retired from Joe Wheeler EMC as a lead lineman in 2018 and was a member of Jones Chapel Congregational Christian Church. Wayne loved hunting, fishing, watching T.V. and spending time with his crew from Joe Wheeler EMC.

Survivors include his wife of forty eight years; Glenda Lindley, one daughter; Katina Curry (Scott),

one granddaughter; Briley Blankenship (Hayden), a brother; Dennis Lindley (Linda) a sister; Lola Faye Ergle, his babies “pets”, Trixie and Midnight and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Jerry Lindley and James “Buddy” Lindley and two sisters; Mary Ann Hood and Marie Rollins.

Pallbearers will be David Clecker, Zach Latham, Patrick Turner, Sloan Berryman, Keith Pierce, Jamie Johnson and Randy Dutton.

The family extends special thanks to Wayne’s Doctor’s: Faye Wilson and L. Randolph Buckner, Hospice of the Valley, all of his friends at Joe Wheeler EMC, Steve’s Drug Store and his many friends he has had over the years.
