Woodie Jefferys

Woodie Houston Jefferys, 88 years old of Town Creek, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, August 25, 2016. Visitation will be Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church from 12:00 - 2:00 PM. Funeral Service will immediately follow with Bro. Dan Compton officiating. Burial will be in Hardshell Cemetery.
Mr. Jefferys was retired from Reynolds after working there for 32 years and also served in the US Navy and Airforce.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William Houston Jefferys and Hattie Mae Pate Jefferys; five brothers, Irvin, Alvie, JD, Hubert and George Jefferys; and four sisters, Myrtle Pool, Grace Skinner, Ruby Jefferys and Maxine Jefferys.
Mr. Jefferys is survived by his wife, Faye Isbell Jefferys of Town Creek; two sons, Steve Jefferys and his wife Joan, of Priceville and Terry Jefferys and his wife, Penny of Town Creek; one daughter, Deb Lovelady and her husband, Mike of Harvest; one brother, Elton Jefferys of Clarksville, Tennessee; one sister, Sybilene Kiser of Town Creek; four grandchildren, Jeremy Jefferys, Jayna McCutcheon, Lyndsey Gray and Wesley Jefferys; five great grandchildren, Houston McCutcheon, Carley McCutcheon, Sawyer Jefferys, Sudie Faye Gray and Rutley Gray; five step-granddaughters, Jenny, Betsy, Sally, Amy and Samantha.
Pallbearers are Jeremy Jefferys, Justin McCutcheon, Wesley Jefferys, Houston McCutcheon, Jonathon Gray and Ronnie Blankenship.
