Alice "Al" Letson

Alice "AL" Letson, 59, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Monday, October 10, 2022, at her residence. Lawrence Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements, and a memorial service will be scheduled by the family at a later date.

Born on August 29, 1963, to Arthur and Genell Flake Borden Jr., Alice enjoyed spending her time outdoors, muscle cars, antiques, cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide, and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Al enjoyed planting flowers and trees and was a master at her craft in anything landscaping.

Survivors include her husband, Clayton Armstong; four children, Summer Smith, of Chulavista, CA, Whitney Cato of Decatur, Chelsey Cameron (Eric) of Moulton, and Mckenzie Armstong; four grandchildren, Avery Smith, Lucas Cato, Case Cameron, and Kennedy Cameron; two sisters, Brenda Bradford and Sandra Cramer; two brothers, Steve Borden and Marvin Borden ; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents Arthur Jr. and Genell Borden; granddaughter, Olivia Young; and one brother, Timmy Borden.



In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tennessee Valley Outreach, 2117 Moulton Heights Rd, Decatur, AL 35601, in honor of Al's love and compassion for helping others.
