George “Jiggs” Loggins, 94, of Moulton passed away Friday, August 17, 2018 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Visitation will be from 1 till 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Faith Tabernacle in Trinity, AL. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. at the church Bro. Anthony Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Old Beulah Cemetery with Lawrence Funeral Home assisting with arrangements.
Jiggs was a retired boilermaker and trader. As an evangelist, he held many tent revivals through the years.
Survivors include his great-nephews, George Loggins and Craig Britt; many other extended family including the Naylor family, Gillespie family, and the Rodgers family; and special friend and helper, Ginger Sparks.
Jiggs was preceded in death by his first wife, Ola Gillespie Bennett; his second wife, Janice Loggins; his parents, James Clayton and Mary Miranda Rodgers Loggins; brother, Lewis Loggins; sister, Pauline Loggins.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Scott, Kenneth Clayton, Larry Detherage, Dustin Doty, Tim Bryant, Dustin Simmons.
Special thanks are given to all of Jigg's home health care nurses.
Flowers would be appreciated or donations may be made to Lawrence Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
